On Friday, April 21, internationally recognized Hungarian pianist Dániel Lebhart performed for guests at an exclusive concert held at the Embassy of Hungary. Organized by The Embassy Series, the concert was followed by a buffet dinner.

Internationally-acclaimed Hungarian pianist Dániel Lebhart delivered an enthralling performance of compositions by both Franz Schubert (1797-1828) and Béla Bartók (1881-1945) on the evening of Friday, April 21. Born in Hungary, Bartók is widely considered to be one of the greatest composers of the 20th century.

Lebhart, who at the age of 23 has already made debuts at the Béla Bartók Memorial House in Budapest, the Senate House in London and at the Musée du Louvre in Paris, performed Schubert’s Opus 90 and Impromptu No. 2 in E-flat Major and finished with Bartók’s instantly recognizable Three Studies, Sz. 72, BB 81.

The concert was organized by The Embassy Series, one of the Embassy's oldest partners and an organization dedicated to "uniting people through music diplomacy." To learn more about The Embassy Series and view the upcoming spring concert series schedule, please click HERE.
