The final of this year’s Embassy Chef Challenge organized by Cultural Tourism DC will be held this Thursday. After winning last year’s competition Hungarian Embassy’s Chef Viktor Merényi will be part of the jury judging the competitors.

Beside him the jury of this year's Embassy Chef Challenge includes the following judges: the Washington Post’s Tim Carman, former Top Chef competitor Carla Hall, Reagan Building Executive Chef Xavier Deshayes, Occasions Caterers Executive Chef Sina Molavi, and Washington Post’s Food and Travel Editor, Joe Yonan.

This year’s Embassy Chef Challenge will have resident chefs: Chef Omar Hashimi, Embassy of Afghanistan; Chef Sherene N. Jame, Embassy of Jamaica; Chef Xu JinXue,Embassy of the People's Republic of China; Chef Kwang Kenneth Yang, Embassy of the Republic of Korea; Chef Ismar Reyes, Embassy of El Salvador; Chef Nathan Bates, New Zealand Embassy; Chef Mukesh Ramnarine "Chef Tiger", Embassy of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago; Chef Roman Shchadrin, Embassy of the Russian Federation to the United States of America; Chef Simon Liestoel Idsoe, Royal Norwegian Embassy.
