The Office of the Defense Attaché of the Embassy of Canada in Washington, DC, in cooperation with the So Others Might Eat (SOME) charity group, organized a food drive aid titled Operation Charity on Sunday, December 4.

Volunteering defense attaches assisted in serving warm breakfast for homeless persons and presenting them donations and Christmas gifts afterward. The number of volunteers was limited and the participants list filled up only hours after the program was announced.

Brigadier-General Zsolt Sándor, Defense Attaché of the Embassy of Hungary and his family joined the multinational team of defense attachés and their spouses from Japan, Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal, Canada, Belgium, United Kingdom to take part in one of the best causes of the year.
