TechCrunch Disrupt, one of the largest and most important tech startup conferences in the United States, opened its doors earlier this week in San Francisco. For the first time ever, four different Hungarian tech startups were invited to the conference, showcasing the best of Hungarian technology and innovation. Each of the four companies – Shapr3D, SignAll, NowTechnologies and ClipDis – will have the opportunity to meet with potential investors and break into the American market.

With the help of the Hungarian National Trading House, four Hungarian startup companies are attending TechCrunch Disrupt, an ongoing tech conference in San Francisco. They include:

    • SignAll, a program designed to live translate sign-language with the use of camera recognition;
    • Shapr3D, a 3D Modelling Application,designed for iPad Pro;
    • Gyrostem, a system developed by NowTechnologies to aid paralyzed persons in wheelchair navigation and communication; and,
    • ClipDis, a tool to create personalized video messages using short clips or quotes from movies.

The four Hungarian startups, also attended a networking event hosted by Central European Visegrád partner countries Slovakia and the Czech Republic in San Francisco prior to the event.

TechCrunch Disrupt is the world’s largest organizations specializing in the promotion and organization of startup conferences and brings together some of the tech sector’s key innovators.
