Ambassador György Szapáry attended the World Cultural Economic Forum (WCEF) in New Orleans, LA between Wednesday, May 2 and Friday, May 4, during the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. During the last week of the Embassy Holocaust Memorial Month Ambassador Szapáry was invited to the State Department to participate at the Holocaust Remembrance Day with special introductory remarks by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, we organized a closed screening of the film "There Was Once" in the presence of Director Kalman and main character Gyöngyi Magó as well as invited Mr. Ferenc Katona to speak about the USHMM Archives.
