Ambassador Szapáry visited the West Coast during the first weeks of the New Year. As part of his program he participated the Annual Conference of the American Economic Association in San Diego. He visited the Hungarian communities both in San Diego and Los Angeles. The Ambassador has met representatives of the AJC, ADL and the Simon Wiesenthal Center and had a meeting with Leroy De Baca Sheriff of the Los Angeles County.
Ambassador Szapáry concluded a three day visit to Massachusetts, where he met Governor Deval Patrick, visited Hungarian communities in Bedford and Boston, and met representatives of Boston based biotech and pharmaceutical companies, incubators and accelerator houses.
