On February 4th the Hungarian Embassy hosted a wine tasting event featuring the Juhász Brothers Winery to great sucess.

The Hungarian Embassy in Washington, DC hosted a wine tasting event showcasing wines from the Juhász Brothers Winery with some of the finest wines from across Hungary.

Ambassador Dr. Réka Szemerkényi and embassy staff were joined by over 80 guests including a number of bloggers, traders, and fellow competitors from industry.

The wine tasting event consisted of three white wines (a chardonnay, riesling, and moscat) followed by four red wines, all from the Eger region of Hungary. Each wine was paired with light hors d'oeuvres giving attendees the chance to sample salami, grey cattle, Mangalica and other assorted Hungarian delicacies.

On February 7th the Juhász Brothers Winery hosted another event at the Hungarian consulate in New York City with similar success. Approximately 40 guests attended.

This is the Juhász Brothers’ first foray into the American markets. They hope that this successful exhibition will provide an opportunity for expansion and a chance to build meaningful relationships within the winemaking industry in the United States.
