GRFF was an invitation-only venue for high-level dialogue among university leadership, senior research and international officers, and faculty and graduate students with global research aspirations.

The theme of the GRFF is “Maximizing Opportunities to Build a Global Research Portfolio,” focusing on the benefits of a comprehensive, integrated global research and education approach. 200 participants from 20 countries, from 31 universities of 20 US states attended the GRFF.

From Central and Eastern Europe two countries, Hungary and Estonia received invitation to the GRFF in order to introduce their countries` research priorities, research exchange and cooperation opportunities.
