Éva Polgár, the young, award-winning pianist of the 2012 Los Angeles International Liszt Competition gave a wonderful performance on September 25, 2013 at the Embassy to a full house, featuring the beloved works of Ferenc Liszt.

Éva Polgár graduated with honors from Franz Liszt University with a Master’s degree in 2007. She finished her studies in Helsinki in 2008, performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Sibelius Academy’s student orchestra under the direction of acclaimed Finnish conductor, Okko Kamu.

More than 100 guests enjoyed the concert and the reception organized jointly by the Embassy of Hungary and the International Club of D.C.
