Meet an exceptional young Hungarian man, Dávid Nagy, who’s planning to walk and hike across the United States with a remarkable mission.

Dávid Nagy had been cured with asthma at the Heim Pál Children’s Hospital in Budapest, Hungary when he was little. With his journey, he would like to donate back to the hospital, which helped him recover from his illness. Moreover, he would like inspire others, proving that nothing is impossible, or as he puts it: “the world is too big for small dreams”.

Dávid Nagy will start his 3.190 miles (5.100 km) long charity walk and hike at the One World Trade Center in New York City on Sunday, May 13, and finish it in Los Angeles, CA on Friday, September 21. During his six-month trip, David will walk across 11 states and about 80 cities and towns, including Harrisburg, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Kansas City, Denver and Las Vegas.
