An incredible dance party with live music hosted by the Hungarian Embassy.

Learn Hungarian folk dances, eat Hungarian styled food, dance your socks off - or just sit, listen and enjoy!

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear László Orbán - lead violinist live! Laci was born and grew up in Sófalva (Transylvania). He then moved to Budapest and became the violinist for the preeminent, professional group, the Hungarian State Folk Ensemble (Magyar Állami Népi Együttes). In Hungary Laci accompanied dozens of other dance ensembles as well as performed with respected musicians such as Sebestyén Márta, the Téka, Muzsikás, and Dűvő Band.


6:00 - Children Program [not only for children]. Fun and entertaining traditional folk games for everybody.

7:00 - Hungarian Folk Concert and Dance Show. Violin: Orbán László [Forrás Band]. Goat-Bagpipe, Viola, peasant-flute: Miklós Lajos – Lecsó [Forrás Band]. Dulcimer, viola, taragott: George Petran [Életfa Band]. Singing: Zsuzsanna Seres-Petran [Életfa Band]
