The political directors of the Visegrád Four countries were in Washington D.C. on May 14-15 for consultations with their counterparts at the State Department. The V4 formation has proven to be a valuable asset in advancing transatlantic ties. All countries from the region share common values with the US and have a particularly strong security cooperation with the United States.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán expressed in his letter to President of the World Jewish Congress Ronald S. Lauder that it is an honour for Hungary to host the event. Numerous high-ranking governmental officials will participate and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will address the opening ceremony.
