Hungary Strongly Condemns North Korea Missile Test

Publicated on: April 19, 2017

Hungary condemns the latest missile test by North Korea on April 16 in the strongest possible terms. The unsuccessful test represents a clear violation of multiple UN Security Council resolutions and only further increases tensions on the Korean Peninsula.

Hungary calls on North Korea to immediately dismantle its nuclear and missile programs and cooperate with the international community towards de-escalation.

In the current tense situation, the irresponsible actions of Pyongyang and North Korea pose a serious threat to the security and stability of the Asia-Pacific region.
