Hungary Condemns Barcelona Terror Attack, Offers Condolences to Victims and Families

Hungary was deeply shocked to learn terrorist attack in Barcelona on Thursday, April 20 that killed 13 and injured many others. Our sympathies are with the victims and families of those affected by such a senseless act of violence.

Hungary condemns this cowardly act of violence in the strongest possible terms. Hungary expresses its solidarity with the Spanish people and stands ready to provide any and and all requested assistance.

Such a heinous attack directed against innocent civilians will in no way deter Hungary’s deep resolve and commitment to the fight against global terrorism.

Hungary’s Consulate General in Barcelona is in communication with the competent Spanish authorities and is providing all necessary consular assistance for Hungarian nationals relatives who may have inquiries.
