PAST EVENT: Hungarian Operetta and Folk Music Concert by First Violinist Ferenc Keskeny and his Gypsy Orchestra

The Gypsy Orchestra of First Violinist Ferenc Keskeny returned with Singer Anna Peller on Wednesday, October 26, after their highly successful concert at the Embassy of Hungary in January this year.

Accompanied by Anna Peller, the virtuoso singer, they offered a performance of songs from classical works (e.g. Liszt: Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2, Brahms: Hungarian Dance No. 5), international operettas (e.g. Ferenc Lehár: The Merry Widow, Imre Kálmán: Countess Marica), popular Hungarian songs and international violin pieces (e.g. Monti: Csárdás, Dinicu: Skylark).
