Hungarian Embassy Celebrates St. Stephen's Day on First Anniversary of the Dedication of the Hungarian Shrine at the Basilica of the the Immaculate Conception

On the occasion of St. Stephen's Day and Hungary's National Day, Father Böjte Csaba, OFM, led a 9-mile pilgrimage to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., where he led a mass in honor of the first anniversary of the dedication of the Hungarian Shrine at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception.

Embassy Hosts Open House in Celebration of European Month of Culture

On Saturday, May 14th the Embassy of Hungary hosted an Open House in conjunction with the 27 other member state embassies and the EU Delegation to the United States in Washington, D.C. Traditional Hungarian Goulash and Debrecziner sausage were served alongside copious amounts of Fröccs. The Embassy broke its previous attendance record by over 500 guests, reaching 3,500 attendees by late afternoon.
