Publicated on: November 9, 2011

Embassy Series Concerts by Mr. György Ádám on Wednesday, November 9, 7:30pm and Thursday, November 10, 7:30pm.

From prodigy to Liszt ambassador to philanthropist, Steinway artist Ádám György continues to enchant audiences worldwide with his awe-inspiring program, and we are proud to present this brilliant young artist for the second year in a row. In 2002 Ádám György won the Vienna Classics Prize (Wiener-Klassik-Preis) with his outstanding interpretation of Haydn’s Sonata in G major (No. 54), and in 2003 the Special Prize at the San Remo International Piano Competition. In 2004 Ádám won all prizes (First Prize, Grand Prize and Special Prize) at the First International Chopin Piano Competition in Budapest. That same year, CNN World Report identified him as a “rising star.” Since then he has performed throughout Europe, Asia and North America, including New York’s Carnegie Hall and Singapore’s The Esplanade.

Mr. György Ádám performed two concerts at the Embassy of Hungary on Wednesday, November 9, 7:30pm and Thursday, November 10, 7:30pm.
