The Allegro Foundation's 2018 Ambassador's Ball Honors Hungary

The Allegro Foundation of Charlotte, North Carolina, held its 9th annual Ambassador's Ball on January 6, 2018, and graciously invited Hungary to be the guest of honor for the event. The Ball, which benefits children with disabilities, was hosted by business personality and philanthropist Mr. Felix Sabates and was organized and executed by Ms. Pat Farmer, CEO of the Allegro Foundation, and her exceptional staff. Chris Domeny, Honorary Consul of Hungary to the Carolinas, represented Hungary at the event.

The Government of Hungary proudly supported the Ball by donating two exclusive Hungarian travel packages for the event's auction. Special thanks go out to our following partners:

Founded in 1991, the Allegro Foundation is non-profit organization that combines movement instruction with educational and medical expertise, creating new techniques to teach children with disabilities and enhance their quality of life. Allegro teaches over 700 children annually with intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, autism, orthopedic challenges, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, muscular dystrophy, visual and hearing impairments, children “at-risk”, and children living with cancer in free classes every week!
