Alongside Budapest, three Hungarian cities made an appearance in the most recent edition of “European Cities and Regions of the Future,” fDi Magazine’s flagship bi-annual publication on Europe’s best emerging investment locations. Debrecen, Kecskemét and Székesfehérvár each found their way into a top ten spot in the rankings as a result of their growing potential as investment destinations.

Ambassador Szabó Forges Economic Ties with Connecticut

Chris Ball, Hungary’s Honorary Consul in Connecticut, spearheaded the productive visit, which represented Hungary’s first Ambassadorial-level trip to Connecticut since 2010.

Statue of Holocaust survivor U.S. Congressman Tom Lantos dedicated in Budapest

On the 90th anniversary of the birth of the late Congressman Tom Lantos, his native Budapest dedicated a statue in his honor on Tom Lantos Street in District 13 of the Hungarian capital. The event was the initiative of the district’s Mayor, Mr. József Tóth and was attended by Hungarian officials, Lantos Family members, and many of Tom’s friends and admirers.
