ReConnect Hungary Application Deadline Extended

The Hungarian Birthright Program has extended its application deadline to January 31, 2018! You can still apply for the ReConnect Hungary 2018 scholarship to visit Hungary if you are a young adult aged 18-28 of Hungarian Heritage, born in the U.S. or Canada.

Jabil Inc. Expanding Presence in Tiszaújváros, Hungary

Hungarian real estate developer InfoGroup is building a $13.6 million logistics center in the Tiszaújváros Industrial Park for Jabil Circuit Magyarország Kft., the Hungarian subsidiary of U.S.-based Jabil Inc. The 17,000 sqm facility’s foundation stone was laid on November 3, 2017, and completion is expected next summer.

Fitch Ratings Revises Hungary's Outlook to Positive

On Friday, November 10, Fitch Ratings revised its outlook on Hungary’s long-term foreign- and local-currency issuer default ratings from stable to positive. The credit rating agency affirmed its rating on Hungary at “BBB-”.

Becton Dickinson Inaugurates New Plant in Tatabánya, Hungary

U.S.-based global medical technology company Becton Dickinson (BD) has inaugurated a new $23 million plant in Tatabánya, which will produce research reagents required for the production of medical products. Relying on highly skilled Hungarian labor and its excellent productivity, the new plant will create 107 new jobs and help BD serve its pharmaceutical customers around the world.

American Airlines Seeking Hungarian Speaking Flight Attendants
